Based on their attribute values, Heroes can be divided into: five-star Heroes and those with different star ratings. There are different recruitment methods for recruiting Heroes of different star ratings. 

 
In the Tavern you can recruit normal Heroes. The higher the level of the Tavern, the more Heroes you will be able to choose from. Using a "Recruitment Scroll" will immediately refresh the Heroes in your city's Tavern and new Heroes will emerge. 

 
Once your Tavern reaches Level 5, you will be able to recruit Star Heroes. Select a Hero, pay their desired salary, you can recruit them immediately. 

 
Once your Tavern level reaches Level 5, you will also be able to inquire about Legends. After receiving the information, you will need to occupy the area the Hero is currently in. There is a fixed probability of capturing the Hero. After you capture the Hero you will be able to recruit them. 

 
After you begin recruiting Heroes, you will have to pay attention to your Silver production. Heroes have a salary that must be paid to retain their services. The higher a Hero's star rating, the higher their salary will be.
