You will engage in combat when you: Unlock Buildings and Building Levels, attack Neutral Gangs, attack another Player's City, attempt to eliminate an enemy that has occupied one of your Blocks, enter Storybook mode, defend yourself against another Player's attack, or visit the Martial Arts Studio.
